TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By making a purchase you are aware and agree to the terms & conditions below, and as such, will consider this as a binding professional contract. 

Payments : 

Payment is required when purchasing this item.

Final Product : 

Will be shipped within the time frame agreed to via email.

Timeline :

Your design is scheduled in once payment is made. 

Design work will be done in a first come first serve fashion each month. If you have a specific timeline, please include it in your order notes.

Raven Designs will send a form to be filled out to gather information for your book cover design. This form will be sent prior to starting work on your cover. Please fill this out in a timely fashion as to streamline the work process.

Proofing process : 

Initial Concept

Raven Designs will send 1 initial proof. This proof will serve as a "are we on the same page" concept based on your form. From here we can either tweak that proof, or work up an entirely new concept 

Time Frame

Final product will be sent within 7-10 business days. 

Cancellation : 

In the event of a cancellation before work has started, no further expenses will be owed, and you will receive a 50% refund.

If the work has begun on the project, there will be no refund due to you. 

There will no refunds on any payment made, under any circumstance.

Should Raven Designs take longer to complete the project than originally indicated (i.e. family emergency, act of nature) the Client will be contacted via phone or email in order to agree upon a new project completion date.

Ownership of Artwork :

Raven Designs maintains full rights of all original artwork. Artwork AND CONCEPT, including layout, image style, placement, and fonts may NOT be recreated by another person (Client OR alternate artist included). 

The Client maintains the rights to the stock photo that they have downloaded. Artwork created and send in your final files package may be used for it's intended use and self promotion. However, the design itself must remain in tact, and may not be altered in any way.

The client understands that the any design may NOT be altered by anyone except Raven Designs, in whole or in part. The client also understands that additional charges may apply for any alterations after approval and/or after final files are sent.

Raven Designs always maintains the limited rights to the cover to use as any sort of self promotion, portfolio, client viewing, etc.

No final design will be resold, by either client, or Raven Designs. Proofs not chosen, that are NOT similar to the clients final design, may be used by Raven Designs again, as either a premade cover, or a proof for another client.

Attribution :

Raven Designs requires that design credit.

Liability :

Raven Designs is not liable for damages of any kind, including loss of revenues, profits, business, reputation, or data, in any way related to our services. Raven Designs is not responsible for any claim, loss, or injury based on errors or inaccuracies appearing on our site or in our clients’ written documents once the cover has been approved.

Code of Fair Practice : 

Raven Designs acknowledges that to the best of his/her knowledge, the work prepared is an original creation and has not been previously published and/or consent to use has been obtained on an unlimited basis. The work prepared does not contain any scandalous, libellous, or unlawful matter. The Client and/or others may not use Raven Designs' product in any way that may infringe upon the rights of others. 

Acception of Terms : 

Both Raven Designs and the Client acknowledge acceptance of these terms. By placing your payment, you are acknowledging and agreeing to the terms and conditions listed above. The Client agrees to hold Raven Designs entirely free from any liability.
